Château de Rambouillet, Laiterie de la Reine et Chaumière aux Coquillages

Presentation

Over the course of time this 14th Century fortified castle has been home to a number of illustrious personnages who gradually transformed it into a delightful residence acquired by Louis XIV. The royal estate is now a presidential residence, open to the public and used at intervals to receive heads of state invited to France. It contains some magnificent examples of interior decoration.

-18s and -26s (E.U residents) free. No entry fee on the first Sunday of each month from 11.1 to 5.31 inclusive.
