Presentation
Between the Eiffel Tower and the place du Trocadero, the Cité de l'architecture & du patrimoine occupies one entire wing of the Palais de Chaillot. Its museum exhibits almost 1000 years of architectural history in its mouldings gallery, its wall paintings and its stained glass windows as well as the history of modern and contemporary architecture. Life-size reproductions of parts of monuments, original documents, models, videos as well as multimedia points bring to life this story of French architecture and its surroundings from the 12th century to the present day.
