Explore the intimate lives of the Emperors! A visit to the palace will throw open the doors to the sumptuous apartments of Napoleon I and Napoleon III. Discover also the museum's splendid Second Empire collections and journey into the history of locomotion, from the sledge to the bicycle, and the carriage to the automobile in the Car Museum! And to round off the day, take a break in the heart of nature in the landscaped historical parkland carrying the "Remarkable Gardens" label.

Between 12.30 and 1.30 p.m., the apartments of the Emperor and Empress can be viewed only as part of a guided tour with commentary.
